Jessica S. Forrest has been licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio since 2011 after graduating magna cum laude from the University of Akron School of Law.
Jessica's practice with Ciccolini & Associates Co., L.P.A. focuses approximately 50% on Estate Planning and Probate and Trust Administration, including succession planning for small business clients and litigation associated with probate work (e.g., trust contests, land sales, etc.). The remainder of her practice is divided among several general practice areas including the following: real estate (residential and commercial property taxes, sales, and evictions), general civil litigation, small business law (formation, administration, stock and asset sales, and dissolution), and personal injury matters (including wrongful death and litigation associated therewith). While the practice focuses mainly in Akron and Summit County, the firm offers services throughout northeast Ohio including probate and common pleas courts in Stark, Portage, Medina, Cuyahoga, and surrounding counties.
Jessica serves her local legal community as 2018-2019 Chairperson of the Akron Bar Association's Estate Planning, Probate, and Elder Law Section, a volunteer trial team coach for Akron Law, and a volunteer instructor at Akron Law's annual Summer Trial Academy. She is a Trustee and Treasurer for Highland Square Neighborhood Association, a 501(c)(3) group in Akron that plans the annual PorchRokr Arts & Music Festival in Highland Square, Akron, Ohio. She also volunteers as a speech & debate coach and judge for Our Lady of the Elms High School, where she serves on the Board of Trustees. She is a proud recipient of the Greater Akron Chamber's 30 For the Future Award in 2018.
Jessica's husband, Matthew, is a certified sommelier (wine expert). They and their two cats live in Highland Square, Akron, Ohio. Together they enjoy wine, traveling, theater, cinema, and cooking.
